Line charts can now forecast future values. Dashboards load and refresh one chart at a time, show progress and skeletons while they work, and let you cancel refreshes, and the indexing API can index dimension tables.

Added​

  • Forecasting. Turn on Forecast in the explore toolbar to extend a time series chart with predicted values, drawn as a dotted line.
  • Dimension table indexing API. Index dimension tables through the public API.

Changed​

  • Dashboards load and refresh each chart separately, with a skeleton while a chart refreshes.
  • Refreshing a dashboard shows overall progress, and Cancel all stops every running refresh.
  • Starting a refresh cancels any identical refresh already running.
  • Insight descriptions are easier to read and edit, and dashboard cards flag when their data is stale.
  • Explore and dashboard toolbars are cleaner.

  • Charts on shared dashboards load correctly.
  • Fixed several issues with comparison periods.
  • Dashboard cards keep consistent heights.
